How did the Colombian Heritage start?
Upon arrival in Canada, Milena Casas, choreographer and dancer with more than 12 years of experience in Colombia, saw the need to continue with the legacy that has always characterized her. In March 2013 she formed a Colombian folk dance group that began to bear fruit quickly thanks to the strength and commitment of its members. In 2019, as the group kept growing, the director decided to create Héritage colombien, a non-profit organization whose aim is to help spread and promote multiculturalism in Canada. The group focuses on programs in the arts such as dance, music, plastic arts and Spanish.
